Assistant Manager – Soft Services

About the role

Transguard Group is seeking an Assistant Manager – Soft Services to join its Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. The role oversees daily soft‑service operations, ensuring high service standards and swift resolution of any issues.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing budgets and expenses for cleaning operations, optimizing costs while maintaining quality.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular facility inspections, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and organise daily cleaning schedules in collaboration with the Account Manager.
• Supervise, train, and provide performance feedback to cleaning staff.
• Ensure preventive maintenance (PPM) and service requests (SR) are closed within target times.
• Maintain records related to cleaning activities, attendance, evaluations, and incidents.
• Promote health and safety compliance and a safe working environment.
• Prepare monthly staff meetings and conduct daily/weekly briefings with managers and supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in facility management in a managerial role.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience in mall management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in facilities management and BICSc training certificate.
• Proven project‑management and continuous‑improvement project experience.
