Assistant Sales Manager – Leisure & Luxury Consortia (Chinese speaker)

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will drive business growth from key Chinese markets for Park Hyatt Dubai, focusing on room nights, group business and revenue while upholding the property’s luxury positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a structured sales plan for the Chinese market in line with revenue targets.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, luxury travel advisors, corporate clients and wholesalers across China.
• Identify and acquire high‑potential accounts through targeted sales calls, client meetings and market research.
• Negotiate rates, contracts and packages, and ensure accurate tracking of bookings, contracts and forecasts.
• Represent the property at trade shows, roadshows and industry events to generate business and enhance brand awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of hospitality sales experience with responsibility for the Chinese market, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Established relationships with Chinese tour operators, travel agencies and luxury travel advisors.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English; Cantonese or another Chinese language is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across assigned markets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of hotel sales systems such as Opera or Envision.
