About the role
We are looking for a Commis II to support our kitchen operations at Marriott Executive Apartments in Dubai. The role involves preparing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining kitchen hygiene while following company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, and test foods for proper cooking.
- Prepare cold foods, set‑up and break‑down work stations, and serve food in proper portions.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tools, knives and equipment, and monitor appliance and food temperatures.
- Follow safety, security and company policies, report maintenance needs and maintain a professional appearance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related kitchen experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
