Assistant Vice President Asset Management (Retail)

About the role

Support the execution of the retail management strategy by analysing financials, managing P&L statements and assisting with asset acquisitions, disposals and transformations. This position works closely with asset managers and retail GMs to optimise performance of community malls and other retail assets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed P&L statements, consolidate financials and monitor targets for assigned retail assets.
• Conduct market studies, analyse under‑performing assets (IRR, ROI, ROE) and recommend disposals or transformations.
• Support the development pipeline, coordinate acquisitions and manage integration of newly acquired assets.
• Provide insights on rent pricing, tenant mix and KPIs to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing retail asset properties with annual revenue exceeding AED 1 bn.
• Strong exposure to the GCC real‑estate market and experience in property management and remedial auctions.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or economics.
