Assistant Waiter – Dubai Hospitality Team

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, customer‑focused Assistant Waiter to join our vibrant dining team in Dubai. You will support the lead waiter in delivering a seamless dining experience and help maintain the high standards of our avant‑garde hotel restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead waiter in serving food and beverages to guests.
• Set and clear tables, ensuring proper placement of cutlery, glassware, and dishes.
• Greet and seat guests, provide menus, and answer basic menu questions.
• Take drink orders and relay them to bar staff.
• Refill water glasses and attend to guest needs throughout the meal.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions when required.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Participate in pre‑shift meetings and ongoing training sessions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English; Arabic or other languages a plus.
• Excellent customer service attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Attention to detail in food presentation and table settings.
