Associate – Agency Services in Investment Banking

About the role

The Associate – Agency Services role supports the Corporate & Investment Banking Group by managing operational aspects of facility and security agency functions. Reporting to the Agency Head, the position ensures high service standards, timely transaction processing, and effective stakeholder liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Shorouq platform structured trade transactions, ensuring error‑free processing and adherence to turnaround timelines.
• Review, negotiate, and track structured trade documents from an agency perspective on behalf of lenders.
• Monitor stressed loans, coordinate with legal counsel, and provide regular updates to lenders and relevant parties.
• Maintain security arrangements across facilities, handling renewals, expiries, lodgments, and retrievals.
• Coordinate all‑party lender meetings, prepare minutes, and circulate outcomes to the Unit Head.
• Update KYC information, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuously improve unit policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with experience in corporate banking, preferably at least one year in an agency role.
• Strong documentation skills to interpret LMA standard documentation.
• Excellent communication abilities to interact with borrowers, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, problem‑solver with solid business analytical capabilities.
