Associate Manager – Legal (Paralegal)

About the role

The Associate Manager – Legal (Paralegal) provides core legal support to the Legal Department at Majid Al Futtaim’s UAE Corporate Head Office. The role involves research, drafting, and administration of legal documents to ensure timely and compliant delivery of services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare draft contracts, agreements and notices in line with internal standards and legal requirements.
• Review and proofread contracts and legal documents for clarity, grammar and potential issues, escalating as needed.
• Assist senior legal counsel with Arabic/English document comparison and lease execution.
• Work with legal translators, reviewing their outputs.
• Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory updates affecting contract terms.
• Study statutes, regulations and government decisions to assess legal ramifications.
• Archive legal approvals and transaction details for easy reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal support role within a service‑oriented organization in the GCC, preferably UAE.
• Strong communication skills with clear written summaries and escalations.
