Bank Teller – Dubai

About the role

The Teller (Emiratized role) is responsible for handling cash‑counter transactions for customers in a Dubai branch. The position requires accurate, secure processing of deposits, withdrawals and related services while supporting branch performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash withdrawals, deposits, cheque deposits, inter‑account transfers and vault transactions in local and foreign currencies.
• Perform end‑of‑day cash and valuables reconciliation and ensure accurate system posting.
• Handle manager’s cheques, demand drafts, telegraphic transfers, IPO processing and clearing items according to FAB procedures.
• Support branch KPIs such as NPS, Right First Time (RFT), service request turnaround, complaint resolution and mystery‑shopping scores.
• Promote FAB digital channels (ATM, CDM, mobile and online banking) and assist customers with onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with FAB policies, KYC, AML, risk controls and report suspicious activity.
• Identify customer needs during transactions and refer potential sales opportunities to branch staff.
• Complete required reports, assist with cash counts, vault audits and maintain cash limits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of banking experience.
• Emiratized role – preference for UAE nationals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet accuracy standards.
