Budget and Cost Control Analyst – CAPEX

About the role

The Analyst will support the preparation, consolidation and monitoring of budgets across revenue, operating, manpower, logistics, marketing, supply and trading functions, and contribute to the Five Year Business Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and validate revenue budgets from planning teams and operating plans from various functions.
• Prepare, coordinate and consolidate annual and five‑year budgets for the directorate and business line.
• Update budget records, monitor expenses, and highlight variances against approved budgets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and variance analysis reports.
• Process accruals, monthly payments and reconcile with the general ledger for cash‑flow preparation.
• Ensure proper coding of sales invoices and payments in SAP and other approved systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry, focusing on marketing budget, contracts, accounting and financial analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software.
