Business Development Engineer – Low Voltage Partnerships

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Business Development Engineer to drive growth of its Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear business, focusing on Data Center and Commercial & Industrial segments in the UAE. The role blends technical expertise with business development to expand strategic partnerships and increase market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute partnership plans to grow LV switchgear sales, primarily in Data Center and Commercial & Industrial markets.
• Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strategic partners while expanding opportunities with existing partners.
• Create joint go‑to‑market initiatives, technical business cases, and value propositions to generate demand.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to align activities and maximize opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, application engineering, or a related customer‑facing role.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with consultants, contractors, OEMs, panel builders, EPCs, distributors, or strategic partners.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem‑solving skills, and ability to work in a matrix organization.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of LV switchgear and power distribution systems.
• Understanding of electrical infrastructure applications in data centers and commercial/industrial settings.
