Business Development Executive – New Sales (Dubai)

About the role

Ventures Middle East is seeking a Business Development Executive to sell its MEA Construction Projects Database to the construction industry in Dubai. The role focuses on generating new sales, meeting or exceeding assigned quotas, and expanding market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategies to target potential clients and partners.
• Conduct market research to analyse industry trends, competitor activities and growth areas.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, prepare persuasive presentations and proposals to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development and customer service to support business development efforts.
• Track and report on sales activities, performance metrics and market insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities with a proven record of meeting sales targets.
• Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape and client needs in construction.
• Proactive, analytical and able to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Familiarity with project management software.
