Business Development Manager - Electrical Trading

About the role

The client seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales of electrical cables and accessories across the UAE. The role focuses on building long‑term customer relationships and achieving profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with electrical traders, distributors and key customers.
• Generate new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
• Promote and sell cables, cable glands, lugs, cable ties and related accessories.
• Visit customers regularly to understand needs, create enquiries and secure orders.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales and gross‑profit targets.
• Manage collections, ensure timely receivables and maintain credit limits.
• Coordinate with sales support, purchasing, logistics and accounts for order execution.
• Monitor market prices, competitor activity and customer buying patterns, reporting on sales and market opportunities.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in UAE electrical trading, specifically cables and accessories.
• Strong network among electrical traders, distributors and retail shops.
• Proven track record of generating profitable sales.
• Ownership of customer collections and ability to manage outstanding payments.
