Business Development Manager – Middle East & Africa

About the role

Amazon is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead the growth of its consumer subscriptions business across the Middle East and Africa, with a focus on Turkey and Saudi Arabia. You will manage both new and existing distribution partnerships, working closely with telco operators and other strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute country‑specific business development strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Own and nurture existing strategic partner accounts, conduct regular QBRs, and drive deal optimisations.
• Source, negotiate and close complex partnership agreements from initial contact to signed contracts.
• Lead internal approval processes and due‑diligence documentation to satisfy all stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate with other Amazon business development teams to present a unified vision and secure high‑value partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Go‑to‑Market, Business Development, Sales or Consulting.
• Track record of developing strategies that influence senior leadership decisions.
• Experience managing cross‑functional programs, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Strong ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Required skills

• Experience identifying, negotiating and executing complex legal agreements.
• Fluency in Arabic (read, write, speak) – preferred.
• Fluency in Turkish (read, write, speak) – preferred.
