Business Development Specialist

About the role

Donut Media is looking for a Business Development Specialist to own the lead lifecycle from initial enquiry to signed client. You will work closely with account managers and the marketing team to drive new business in the F&B sector.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly to new enquiries, qualify them, and schedule discovery calls.
• Maintain the Airtable CRM with accurate stages, follow‑up dates and lead sources.
• Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and calls, targeting restaurant openings, rebrands and weak Instagram accounts.
• Draft proposals, re‑engage cold leads on a set schedule and hand over won clients to account managers.
• Run email and WhatsApp campaigns, track results with UTM parameters and GA4, and produce weekly pipeline reports.

Required profile

• Proven outbound sales experience with measurable results (reply rates, meetings booked).
• Strong copywriting ability, clear communication on calls and WhatsApp.
• Detail‑oriented, diligent with dates, follow‑ups and documentation.
• Self‑starter who builds systems from scratch and experiments with new approaches.
