Buyer Acquisition Manager

About the role

The Buyer Acquisition Manager will drive the acquisition of senior German buyers for our exhibition, converting them into confirmed attendees. This position sits within the Delegates Team and focuses on outbound outreach and high‑value buyer conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Own outbound acquisition of senior German buyers and decision‑makers across Germany.
• Build and manage targeted buyer pipelines by sector and seniority.
• Conduct high‑volume outreach in German via calls, email and LinkedIn.
• Pitch VIP, hosted buyer and curated meeting programmes with a conversion focus.
• Qualify buyers against criteria and secure attendance commitments.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and conversion tracking in the CRM.
• Meet weekly and monthly acquisition targets and report performance.
• Coordinate closely with the Delegates Team to prioritise high‑value buyer segments.

Required profile

• Native or fluent German and strong professional English.
• 4–7 years’ experience in outbound sales, delegate sales, business development or B2B events.
• Proven ability to sell to senior decision‑makers (C‑suite, directors, heads of function).
• Confident closer with strong objection‑handling skills.
• Comfortable working with targets, KPIs and conversion rates.
