Buyer – Luxury Fashion for Bloomingdale's in Dubai

About the role

The Buyer will lead the luxury fashion assortment for Bloomingdale's new department store in KSA, based out of Dubai. This role combines strategic planning, market analysis and supplier management to deliver a profitable and inspiring product range.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, consumer preferences and sell‑through data to shape buying strategies.
• Plan and select merchandise range, quality and quantities in line with budget and sell‑through targets.
• Execute purchasing activities according to brand purchase plans and monitor stock levels.
• Maintain profitable relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure training provision.
• Support promotional activities, PR and marketing campaigns with appropriate product selection.
• Provide leadership to the buying team, driving performance and development.

Required profile

• Mandatory experience in the GCC region, preferably KSA.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region and to Europe.
