Category Manager – Greeting Cards & Gifting (Full/Part‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Category Manager to lead the growth of our Greeting Cards & Gifting portfolio across retail stores, marketplaces and our own e‑commerce sites. The role can be structured as full‑time or part‑time depending on experience and availability, and will involve managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category growth plans, identify trends and seasonal ranges for greeting cards, gift accessories and related products.
• Collaborate with designers and production teams to create exclusive collections tailored for UAE and GCC consumers.
• Manage product specifications, pricing, positioning and launch calendars.
• Ensure attractive visual merchandising in all retail locations and build strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms and lead times while monitoring supplier performance and product quality.
• Analyse sales, margins, stock performance and customer feedback to adjust pricing strategies and promotional activities.
• Work closely with operations and purchasing to forecast demand, minimise stock‑outs and support replenishment planning.
• Monitor competitors, industry trends and international markets to uncover new opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in category management, buying, merchandising or product management.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with proven ability to drive revenue and margin growth.
• Experience sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers.
• Excellent communication, organisational and multi‑project management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon and Noon.
