Category Manager – Greeting Cards & Gifting (Part‑Time/Full‑Time)

About the role

Share the Love, a leading gifting business in the UAE, is seeking a commercially‑minded Category Manager to drive growth for its Greeting Cards & Gifting portfolio. You will own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from concept and design through launch and performance monitoring, across both retail stores and online marketplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category growth plans for greeting cards, gift accessories and related products.
• Identify new product opportunities, trends and seasonal ranges; build roadmaps and launch calendars.
• Brief designers, manage product specifications, pricing and positioning, and create exclusive ranges for UAE and GCC consumers.
• Ensure attractive visual merchandising in all retail locations and maximize sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms and lead times, and monitor quality.
• Analyse sales, margins, stock performance and customer feedback; recommend pricing strategies and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with operations and purchasing to forecast demand, minimise stock‑outs and excess inventory, and support replenishment planning.
• Monitor competitors, industry trends and international markets to uncover emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in category management, buying, merchandising or product management.
• Strong commercial and analytical abilities with proven experience sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers.
• Excellent Excel and data‑analysis skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Desirable experience in greeting cards, gifting, stationery, party supplies, home décor or FMCG.
• Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, Noon or other retail channels and understanding of the UAE/GCC retail market.
