Channel Development Manager (FMCG)

About the role

The Channel Development Manager will design and execute channel strategies across the UAE, ensuring effective distribution, retail execution and promotional activities for PAX's consumer brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement channel management policies, operating standards and governance frameworks.
• Manage the full distributor lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, performance monitoring, capability development and exit.
• Oversee retail initiatives such as product listings, merchandising, in‑store displays and promotions across major supermarkets.
• Analyse channel performance, identify growth opportunities and recommend actions to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal commercial, sales and marketing teams to align channel initiatives with business objectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in channel, distributor or regional sales management within FMCG or related consumer goods.
• Proven track record of managing distributor partnerships throughout the full lifecycle.
• Strong analytical ability to assess performance and spot commercial opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
