Chief Commercial Officer

About the role

HLB HAMT is seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer to lead firm‑wide business development and growth strategy across the UAE and the wider GCC. The role focuses on client acquisition, strategic account development, cross‑service growth and revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a firm‑wide business development and growth strategy for priority market segments.
• Identify, acquire and expand high‑value relationships with European and US multinationals, family offices, government entities and related bodies.
• Lead complex pursuits from qualification through proposal, pricing, negotiation and closure.
• Drive cross‑selling across Audit & Assurance, Tax, Advisory, Accounting, Payroll, HR, Risk, Compliance, Technology and ESG.
• Strengthen strategic account management, CRM discipline, pipeline governance and revenue forecasting.
• Leverage the HLB International network for inbound and outbound referral opportunities.
• Coach and develop the Business Development team and enhance BD capabilities across partners and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of business development, commercial or growth leadership experience with senior/executive exposure.
• Proven track record acquiring and growing multinational, family‑office or government relationships with measurable revenue results.
• Strong professional‑services background in audit, tax, advisory, consulting, legal or banking.
• Extensive UAE/GCC experience and an established senior‑level network.
