Co‑Founder & Dealmaker – Tech M&A

About the role

Corum Group is seeking experienced technology CEOs who have successfully exited a software or IT company to join our team as Co‑Founders and Dealmakers. You will mentor fellow founders, drive M&A engagements, and help generate multiple offers through our proven 8‑step process.

Key responsibilities

• Convert prospects into clients and nurture relationships through phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Lead the full engagement lifecycle: preparation, research, discovery, negotiation, due diligence, closing and integration.
• Act as the primary liaison between tech entrepreneurs, potential buyers, Corum’s research, marketing and client‑service teams.
• Present at tech M&A conferences, webinars and podcasts produced by Corum and its affiliates.

Required profile

• Founder‑CEO of at least one software, IT or related tech company that you have sold.
• Experience across multiple software or technology sectors.
• Strong sales mindset with a proven track record of closing deals.
• Excellent public‑speaking and presentation abilities.
• Effective time‑management, communication and organisational skills.
• Storytelling talent that conveys value beyond financials; MBA and multilingual abilities are a plus.
