Commercial Analyst (Fixed-term, 1 year) – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial team in Dubai on a one‑year fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be the analytical backbone for the GCC region, managing sell‑out reporting, commercial finance operations and providing insight for retailer, brand and budget decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly sell‑out reporting cycle: collect, validate and upload retailer data in Qlik, produce weekly and monthly reports for Sephora, NARS and BOTAN, and prepare performance review decks.
• Manage commercial finance operations including purchase orders, credit notes, promo claims, rebates, price discrepancy resolutions and monthly finance requests such as Gross Sales and Sell‑Out forecasts.
• Conduct stock coverage, on‑hand inventory and suggested order analysis for UAE partners, support annual budgeting, and deliver seasonal and event analyses (e.g., Ramadan LFL reports).
• Prepare retailer strategy presentations, maintain beauty hub and pop‑up sales trackers, and provide analytical support to the e‑commerce team.
• Identify and implement improvements in reporting and commercial processes through automation, template standardisation and data quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in commercial or finance reporting within the retail or beauty sector.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data sources under tight deadlines.
• Proactive communicator able to act as the liaison between Commercial and Finance teams.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Qlik for data visualization and reporting.
