About the role

The company is a reputable pharmaceutical organization seeking a Commercial Director for its Dubai office. The role involves leading commercial strategy and driving growth across the GCC, with regular travel throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy to expand market share in the GCC.
• Own P&L performance, set revenue targets, manage budgeting, forecasting and profitability.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams.
• Lead major commercial negotiations and maintain a robust pipeline.
• Analyse market performance and implement ROI‑maximising strategies.
• Strengthen brand positioning and commercial presence across the region.
• Lead, coach and develop commercial and sales teams to achieve sustainable growth.
• Provide commercial insights and performance updates to executive leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of senior commercial leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Recent, strong experience in UAE/GCC markets.
• Proven full P&L responsibility across multiple markets.
• Deep understanding of GCC market dynamics, procurement practices and regulatory environment.
• Successful track record of creating new revenue streams and delivering measurable results.
• Established GCC business network and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic highly preferred.
