Commercial Operations & Commercial Excellence Director

About the role

This senior position leads commercial transformation and operational excellence for MiniMed across the Emerging EMEA region, covering Russia, Central Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. The role will drive sales enablement, analytics, governance and indirect channel management to accelerate revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver competency training programs, incentive strategies and a StartUp curriculum for new salespeople.
• Develop predictive analytics capabilities, dashboards and KPI monitoring to provide actionable commercial insights.
• Oversee indirect channel partner enablement, competency frameworks and incentive programs.
• Manage tendering, contracting, event operations and ensure compliance with global commercial excellence standards.
• Partner with regional sales, HR, finance and global Commercial Excellence teams to align initiatives and drive cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years progressive experience in sales enablement, commercial excellence or operations within complex global organisations.
• At least 7 years of people‑management experience.
• Proven success designing sales training, competency frameworks and incentive plans.
• Strong analytical background with experience building dashboards and predictive models.
• Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages a plus and willingness to travel.
