Commissioning Superintendent – Electrical (Sulphur)

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Commissioning Superintendent Electrical to lead commissioning activities for a sulphur‑focused EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating with licensors, vendors, and the senior commissioning manager to ensure safe and timely start‑up of electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to monitor commissioning activities according to prescribed procedures.
• Oversee progress of commissioning for sales gas and condensate areas, reviewing pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates and ensure readiness for MC and RFSU certification.
• Participate in commissioning meetings, troubleshoot obstacles, and approve punch‑list close‑outs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 18 years of commissioning/operation readiness experience, preferably in the GCC.
• At least 5 years in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with exposure to sour‑gas, hydrogen production, or hydro‑desulphurisation.

Required skills

• Electrical commissioning of large‑scale EPC projects.
