Compliance Manager – C&IB Compliance

About the role

Emirates NBD is seeking a Compliance Manager to join its Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) compliance team. You will support the Senior Manager and the wider team in financial crime compliance activities, ensuring timely reviews and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Manager with regulatory engagement, compliance reporting, committee materials and ad‑hoc requests.
• Review new and existing client relationships, including PEP, high‑risk, annual and account‑opening cases from KYC, AML, CTF and sanctions perspectives.
• Provide guidance to C&IB stakeholders on regulations, group policies, account‑opening requirements and financial‑crime risk matters.
• Manage correspondent banking KYC queries, respond to system alerts and ensure timely feedback.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, remediation activities and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least six years of experience in AML, compliance, risk, banking or a regulatory body.
• Strong analytical and research abilities to identify suspicious activity and recommend controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, sound judgement and confidence to explain compliance decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborative, improvement‑focused attitude with strong stakeholder‑management skills.
