Consultant Intensive Care Specialist (Australian Board Qualified)

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Intensive Care Specialist with Australian Board qualification to join its critical care team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care to critically ill and high‑dependency patients, managing complex medical and surgical cases.
• Perform and supervise invasive and non‑invasive critical care procedures, including mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic support.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with emergency medicine, surgery, cardiology and other specialties.
• Participate in rapid response, resuscitation, teaching, audit, research and quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with Australian Board/Fellowship qualification in Intensive Care Medicine (e.g., FCICM).
• Relevant consultant‑level clinical experience and current specialist registration in good standing.
• Eligibility for DOH/DHA medical licensing in the UAE.
• Strong clinical, communication, leadership and decision‑making abilities.
