Consultant Orthopedic Spine Surgeon – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our leading healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage a broad spectrum of spinal disorders, delivering both conservative and advanced surgical care while upholding the highest standards of patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat congenital, degenerative, traumatic, infectious, neoplastic and deformity‑related spinal conditions.
• Perform complex procedures including minimally invasive spine surgery, decompression, fusion, disc replacement, deformity correction and revision surgeries.
• Interpret imaging studies (X‑ray, CT, MRI, bone scans) and conduct thorough clinical assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide pre‑operative counseling, surgical planning and post‑operative follow‑up.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain specialists, physiotherapists and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with DHA regulations and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBCh, MD or equivalent) with board certification in orthopedic spine surgery.
• Minimum eight years of post‑qualification experience (approximately 96 months).
• Proven track record of performing advanced spinal surgeries on adult and pediatric patients.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
