Consultant Otolaryngology

About the role

The Consultant Otolaryngology will provide comprehensive ENT care at Bareen International Hospital, diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, perform diagnostic tests and procedures, and develop treatment plans for disorders of the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, and related structures.
• Conduct cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, including rhinoplasty, polyp removal, and tumor excision, using specialized equipment such as microscopes.
• Prescribe medications, manage treatment regimens, and refer patients to other specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records, explain procedures, and monitor patient progress.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, assistants, and therapists.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Specialty qualification in Otolaryngology and at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Active HAAD license and hospital privileges for the specialty.
• Medical Board registration from home country and licensure by Health Authority Abu Dhabi.
• Professional demeanor with strong management aptitude.
