Consultant Sales Manager - Direct

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a Consultant Sales Manager – Direct to drive demand for its Controls solutions across the UAE. You will work from the specification stage, partnering with consultants, contractors, developers, end‑users and A&E firms to position the right solutions early in project lifecycles.

Key responsibilities

• Create demand for Controls solutions during the early project lifecycle and influence specifications.
• Develop opportunities across key vertical markets and strategic customer segments.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, end‑users and A&E partners.
• Prepare and deliver technical seminars, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Training, Product Management and Technical Support to support proposals and capture feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotes, projects and contacts in approved systems.
• Own the territory with strong customer focus, disciplined follow‑up and clear commitments.
• Keep CRM and database records current to ensure pipeline visibility and forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of sales or business development experience in BMS products.
• Proven ability to secure product specifications from end‑users, consultants and installers.
• Strong prospecting skills and ability to identify decision‑makers and stakeholders.
• Highly proactive, independent individual contributor with a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel across the country and uphold unquestionable integrity and ethics.
