Consultant / Specialist Psychiatrist – Tax‑Free Role in Dubai

About the role

We are partnering with a JCI‑accredited healthcare group in Dubai to recruit a Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist. The position offers a tax‑free salary, modern facilities and the chance to shape mental health services in a fast‑growing, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status exams, risk evaluations and diagnostic work‑ups.
• Diagnose and manage mood, anxiety, psychotic, personality and substance‑use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that combine pharmacology and psychotherapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and acute inpatient care as needed.
• Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers and other clinicians to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options and preventive strategies.
• Participate in audits, clinical governance and continuous professional development activities.
• Contribute to service development, community outreach and mental‑health awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• Board certification (ABPN, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, FCPS or MD Psychiatry).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board clinical experience.
• Eligibility for a DHA licence or an active licence is preferred.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, patient‑centred environment.
