Corporate FX Sales Unit Head – Director Middle East

About the role

Citi’s Corporate FX Sales business is seeking a senior leader to head the FX sales unit across the Middle East. Based in Dubai, the role combines direct coverage of high‑value corporate clients with supervision of a geographically dispersed sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑year revenue targets for the assigned country and client portfolio, driving growth across flow FX, FX Options, structured solutions and episodic transactions.
• Lead personal coverage of strategically significant corporate relationships, originating complex M&A‑linked FX, hedging programs and multi‑product advisory mandates.
• Define and execute a regional commercial strategy, identify new product and geographic opportunities, and manage business case development and approvals.
• Build cross‑franchise partnerships with Corporate Banking, Services, Trading and e‑FX teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Lead, develop and mentor a multi‑market FX sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and risk awareness.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in Corporate FX Sales or a related Markets discipline with a proven record of senior client coverage and revenue delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead commercial teams across multiple markets, especially in geopolitically and regulatory‑complex environments.
• Experience originating and executing complex FX and multi‑product transactions, including FX Options and structured hedging.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and first‑line risk management experience.

Required skills

• FX Options (FXO) and structured hedging expertise.
• Proficiency with digital FX platforms and e‑FX execution tools.
• Familiarity with automation and AI‑enabled solutions for client and operational workflows.
