Motor Underwriting Analyst – Emiratization (Dubai)

About the role

The successful candidate will organise and analyse data, maintaining systematic computerized records related to premiums to ensure efficient control of the company’s motor underwriting business. This position supports Emiratization goals within a leading UAE insurance firm.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite motor insurance applications in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle day‑to‑day underwriting functions promptly, adhering to prescribed guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor risk management factors such as client claims history to determine appropriate coverage and premium rates.
• Ensure new and renewal policy documents, terms, conditions, endorsements and service requests are processed accurately and delivered within defined KPIs.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or general insurance qualification.
• 0‑3 years of experience in motor underwriting or similar insurance responsibilities.
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with Outlook and internet applications.
