Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will ensure the highest quality and standards of food served at Swissotel Al Ghurair. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene, and train junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and maintain kitchen equipment, machinery, and tools correctly.
• Ensure proper care, handling, and utilization of all food items.
• Supervise and monitor performance of team members.
• Prepare and check store requisitions, manage inter‑kitchen transfers and production reports.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning following kitchen manuals.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel or hospitality kitchen environments.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a kitchen team.
• Creative and passionate about culinary arts and guest service.
• Ability to perform under high‑pressure conditions while maintaining quality.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
