Finance Executive

About the role

The Finance Executive will support the finance department by handling end‑to‑end accounting tasks, ensuring accurate payable and receivable processing, and assisting with financial analysis under the guidance of the reporting manager.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly accounts payable and receivable procedures, including journal vouchers, payments, receipts, debit/credit notes, and invoices.
• Match invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Perform monthly general journal and ledger entries in line with company policies.
• Prepare cheques and wire‑transfers with appropriate payment vouchers for approval.
• Reconcile accounts with major suppliers, vendors, and contractors, arranging balance confirmations.
• Validate commercial customer credit limits and aging reports, updating stakeholders on late receipts.
• Maintain the accounts receivable ledger, close periods, and generate reports.
• Record payments and receipts, perform matching and remittance.
• Ensure all accounting entries are supported by valid documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors to resolve accounting issues.
• Liaise with external customers and suppliers for periodic statement reconciliation.
• Assist in feasibility studies, financial due diligence, modeling, valuations, projections, and other financial analyses.
• Set and monitor performance goals in discussion with the reporting manager.
• Identify personal development needs and pursue learning beyond formal training.
• Stay updated on professional and industry developments through continued education and networking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Ability to set, monitor, and achieve performance goals.
• Proactive attitude toward personal learning and professional development.
• Commitment to staying current with industry best practices and regulations.
