Finance Intern

About the role

The Finance Intern will support the fast‑scaling fintech team in Dubai, helping to keep financial records accurate and month‑end close on schedule. You will work closely with the Finance team and cross‑functional partners to deliver results from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support bank, payment gateway, transaction and intercompany reconciliations, flagging discrepancies and working with relevant teams.
• Prepare customer invoices, credit notes and debit notes accurately and on time.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, reviewing vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
• Help with month‑end close activities including accruals, reconciliations and account reviews.
• Maintain clean accounting records and supporting documentation ready for audit.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc finance projects to improve process efficiency.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
• Ability to make strong decisions with incomplete information.
• Ownership mindset, thinking like an operator rather than a coordinator.
• Enthusiasm for solving hard problems in payments, hospitality, and customer experience.

Required skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English.
