Finance Manager – International Operations (Indonesia Focus)

About the role

The client, an international business group, is establishing operations in the UAE and needs a Finance Manager with deep Indonesian market expertise. The role will oversee finance, tax, and reporting across the UAE, India, Indonesia and other jurisdictions while building the new UAE finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and accounting for entities in the UAE, India and Indonesia, including budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and group reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax rules (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax) and statutory filings, maintaining relationships with local advisers and authorities.
• Standardise accounting procedures, internal controls and reporting frameworks across all markets.
• Oversee inter‑company transactions, transfer‑pricing records and international fund transfers, working with external tax specialists.
• Support global trading, e‑commerce and consumer‑goods operations by recording inventory, product costs, shipping and customs expenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• 5‑10 years of finance management experience, with proven expertise in Indonesian tax, statutory reporting and multi‑jurisdictional finance.
• Experience in global trade, e‑commerce or FMCG environments is preferred.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• ERP/accounting software proficiency.
• In‑depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and statutory requirements.
