Food Runner – Guest Service Support

About the role

As a Food Runner you will support the Guest Service team in delivering a memorable dining experience at our luxury resort in Palm Jumeirah. You will work closely with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, replenish linens and service items.
• Assist kitchen staff by transporting dishes, trays and supplies.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, including clearing tables and disposing of waste.
• Restock service stations with utensils, napkins, and other consumables.
• Handle food items safely, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Lift and carry objects up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior experience required; previous food‑and‑beverage experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk and move on uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
• Physical capability to bend, twist, reach overhead and lift moderate weights.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
