About the role
The Food Runner will support the Laguna Beach Restaurant & Bar team by ensuring smooth service flow between the kitchen and the dining area. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of hospitality expected at a luxury 5‑star resort.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the outlet for operation, including mise‑en‑place, table setting, and light cleaning.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, upsell where appropriate, and accurately record sales using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and drinks according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
- Clear tables, transport dirty dishes to the dish area, and maintain a clean, orderly station.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned and respond flexibly to special guest requests.
Required profile
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel or established restaurant environment.
- Energetic, fun‑loving personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Already residing in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluent English speaker.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a POS (point‑of‑sale) system.
