Fragrance Category Manager – Faces

About the role

The Fragrance Category Manager – Faces will lead the development and execution of category strategies for luxury fragrance within Chalhoub Group, driving commercial performance, profitability and brand growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category business plans aligned with brand objectives, set performance targets and monitor progress.
• Manage budgets, operations and team performance to achieve business objectives.
• Define product assortment, purchasing, pricing, merchandising and promotional strategies across assigned categories and stores.
• Monitor category performance against competitors and market trends, identify growth opportunities and prepare regular performance reviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with brand partners, negotiate commercial agreements, margins, pricing and advertising.
• Plan and coordinate brand promotions, product launches, seasonal activities and marketing calendars.
• Optimize merchandising strategies and space allocation to maximize sales and profitability.
• Identify new products and services to enhance the customer offering.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations for brand registrations and product imports.
• Lead, coach and develop the team by setting objectives and providing feedback.

Required profile

• Experience in luxury fragrance preferred, with luxury beauty category experience.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience managing brand partners and promotional agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen to assess performance and drive growth.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.
