Front Desk Receptionist – Ophthalmology Clinic (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a professional, patient‑focused Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact at a well‑established ophthalmology clinic in Dubai. You will ensure a smooth patient flow, provide accurate information, and support daily clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors courteously and manage front‑desk operations.
• Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and patient requests efficiently.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate appointments across ophthalmologists and diagnostic services.
• Register new patients and keep their records up‑to‑date in the clinic system.
• Manage patient check‑in/check‑out, billing, payment collection, and receipt issuance.
• Support insurance‑related administrative processes and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and staff to minimise waiting times.
• Maintain a professional reception area and assist with general administrative duties.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a medical clinic, hospital or healthcare facility in the UAE (preferred).
• Experience in ophthalmology, eye‑care or premium outpatient clinics is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Professional appearance with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
