Gas Oil – Diesel Trader

About the role

The Gas Oil – Diesel Trader will drive the strategic trading of gas oil and diesel in the UAE local market and for export worldwide. You will analyse market dynamics, negotiate with counterparties and execute trades that maximise profitability while managing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement trading strategies for gas oil and diesel commodities.
• Analyse market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to maximise profit margins.
• Monitor global and regional fuel markets to anticipate price and demand changes.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of products.
• Manage inventory levels to optimise storage and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Provide insights and feedback on market developments to enhance trading strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in trading gas oil, diesel or related commodities.
• Strong understanding of UAE local and global fuel markets and pricing mechanisms.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills for effective client management.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make quick, informed decisions.
