Geography Teacher (GCSE/A-Level) – August Start

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Geography Teacher to join GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail, starting in August 2026. The role involves delivering the British curriculum to KS3‑5 students and contributing to a high‑performing, evidence‑informed learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and share best practices.
• Participate in professional development programmes and school improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified with a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent for secondary education.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Proven record of outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
• Experience working within a high‑performing teaching team.

Required skills

• Deep subject knowledge of Geography.
• Ability to teach the British curriculum at GCSE and A‑Level.
