Guest Relations Executive

About the role

Hyde Hotels is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Guest Relations Executive to be the primary liaison between guests and all hotel departments, ensuring memorable stays and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in the lobby, escort them to their rooms and ensure a seamless check‑in experience.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals with the Front Office, including room allocations, welcome amenities, personalized cards and express check‑in procedures.
• Attend daily luxury forum briefings to stay informed of VIP arrivals, special requests and guest preferences, and communicate this information to relevant departments.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest requests with discretion, manage complaints empathetically, and maintain detailed guest history records.
• Liaise across all hotel departments to coordinate services, activities and special arrangements that align with guest expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of proven experience in guest relations, front office or customer service within a luxury five‑star hotel.
• Strong understanding of luxury service standards, VIP service expectations and complaint resolution.
• Fluent English communication skills; additional languages such as French, Spanish or Arabic are highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Impeccable grooming and professional presentation standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or similar platforms.
