Gulf Country Manager

About the role

The Gulf Country Manager will lead commercial operations, field sales and distribution networks across the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. Reporting to the MENA commercial leadership, the role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share and ensuring financial accountability in the pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute localized commercial strategies aligned with corporate brand plans for each Gulf market.
• Monitor daily and monthly sales performance, ensuring field teams meet CRM coverage targets.
• Coordinate with planning and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent out‑of‑stock situations.
• Prepare annual market budgets, forecast sales and control expenses within corporate limits.
• Identify talent gaps, conduct final interviews, manage performance appraisals and coordinate training with HR and Marketing.
• Engage Key Opinion Leaders and institutional accounts, and supervise external distribution partners across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing commercial operations across Gulf countries in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated ability to formulate budgets, forecast sales and control regional expenses.
• Experience in recruiting, coaching and evaluating sales and marketing teams.
• Strong track record of building relationships with KOLs, distributors and institutional customers.
