Head of Institutional Sales

About the role

The Head of Institutional Sales will support the Head of ADIB Securities in identifying brokerage opportunities, building client acquisition momentum and ensuring high client satisfaction. This senior position also oversees referral agents, marketing presentations and the creation of a Market Maker unit.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage institutional prospects in the UAE and abroad, activating at least three new relationships per month.
• Conduct workshops, presentations and seminars to strengthen ties with existing and potential brokerage clients.
• Supervise referral agents, screen finders, finalize contracts and monitor performance.
• Build a Market Maker parallel unit, secure technology, appoint resources and obtain necessary approvals.
• Organise client meetings, prepare performance reports, and produce follow‑up documentation to close sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 8‑10 years of proven leadership in Institutional Sales, Brokerage or Capital Markets.
• Strong relationships with local and regional pension funds, asset managers and investment banks.
• Ability to attract AED 150 M of new brokerage AUM within the first 12 months.

Required skills

• Investment Banking, IPO and Custody knowledge.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and Reuters terminals.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English and Arabic communication skills.
