Head of Regulatory Compliance

About the role

The Head of Regulatory Compliance will lead Momentum Group’s compliance function for its lottery and commercial gaming activities. Reporting to the Compliance Director, you will be responsible for regulatory engagement, high‑quality submissions and strategic advice to support product development and commercial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engagement with the Gaming and Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), including preparing applications, waiver requests and responding to queries.
• Draft, review and oversee complex regulatory submissions, ensuring clarity, accuracy and strategic positioning.
• Provide regulatory advice to internal stakeholders to enable product development and commercial projects.
• Represent the business in regulatory meetings and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the evolving regulatory landscape.
• Support the Compliance Director in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, executive regulations and guidance.
• Maintain and update relevant policies and procedures, escalating material changes for approval.
• Oversee day‑to‑day compliance activities and governance, supervising the Senior Compliance Manager, Regulatory Compliance Manager and their teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in regulatory compliance within the gaming, lottery or iGaming sector.
• Strong understanding of local gaming regulations and the ability to interpret and apply them.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop compliance teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in law, business, or a related field.
