Head of Strategic Projects & PMO

About the role

The Head of Strategic Projects & PMO will lead dnata Catering & Retail’s enterprise‑wide transformation agenda. Reporting to the Executive Team, you will shape the strategic project portfolio, ensure alignment with corporate goals, and drive measurable business outcomes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define, prioritise and govern the strategic project portfolio in line with the corporate strategy.
• Act as Programme Manager for selected enterprise‑wide initiatives, owning scope, business case, budget, risks and benefits realisation.
• Establish and run the Strategic Projects Office/PMO, setting delivery standards, stage‑gate processes and performance reporting.
• Develop integrated transformation roadmaps across business functions and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with business heads to evaluate options, present recommendations and track impact.
• Lead the most critical strategic and transformation programmes, ensuring successful execution and benefits delivery.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in strategic project or programme management, preferably within aviation, ground handling or related services.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale transformation programmes that generate measurable business results.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence senior executives.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Dubai with occasional business travel.
