Head Pastry Chef – Luxury Beach Resort

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Pastry Chef to join the culinary team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, a luxury beachside resort on Palm Jumeirah. You will lead the pastry and bakery operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all pastry and bakery production, maintaining consistency, presentation and exceptional product quality.
• Drive menu development, recipe standardisation and culinary innovation in line with Jumeirah brand standards.
• Manage departmental budgets, food costs, inventory and resources to achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety and equipment maintenance standards.
• Coach, train and develop the pastry team, fostering a culture of excellence and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management or a related field.
• Minimum eight years of professional pastry experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Proven leadership and team‑development capabilities.
