Head Waiter / Head Waitress – Italian Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Head Waiter/Head Waitress to lead the service team at Prego's Italian Restaurant. You will ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience through prompt, accurate, and personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Kitchen, Stewarding and Outlet Cashiers to guarantee smooth operations.
• Conduct regular training sessions for the team in line with departmental SOPs.
• Monitor duty schedules and ensure proper appearance and grooming of all assigned staff.
• Prepare the outlet for service according to meal settings and opening hours.
• Welcome and seat guests, stepping in for the hostess when needed.
• Maintain professional, friendly relationships with patrons and stay familiar with menu and promotional activities.
• Contribute to achieving the monthly revenue budget for the outlet.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality with up to two years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Well‑presented, outgoing, and customer‑focused with the ability to work under pressure.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and work effectively as a team player.
